This year I did the early voting. Went after work on a friday and was out in 20 minutes. Very long line. I thought I was going to be there for a longtime but it moved fast. Now today I don't have to worry about it. On my way to work today there was a huge line at my precinct waiting to get in..It was 645am. OBAMA!!!!

Remember that Republicans vote on Tuesday and Democrats vote on Wednesday.

I voted at 6 am this morning. There was already a line and I waited about 15 minutes. Not bad and I was still able to make my usual train!

I voted at about 3:00 and there was one person ahead of me. Now I can't watch tv because all they're talking about is "what if". Forget that and just let me know who wins and then let's get on with fixing what's broke! Eileen

11/4/08 RIP U.S.A

The United States of America, formerly the one great country on the planet Earth, joined the also rans yesterday when it's citizens finally quit. The USA is now formerly the home of the Puritan work ethic and the country where schools taught students that with hard work and a little luck that anyone could get ahead. But on 11/4/08 Americans finally displayed how fat and lazy they've become and that these creeds will no longer be the essence of the once great nation. Rather than work hard to succeed, American's showed they'd prefer to vote a man into office who promises to take money from the evil rich and give it to them. When did American stop being fair? If anyone can explain to me why one working person gets to pay only 10% of their salary to taxes while another should have to pay 40% I'd like to hear how that can be justified. I guess we should all be happy. Now we can sit back on our couch and watch TV while we wait for the government checks to start rolling in.

Whoever that "anonymous" comment is by, and when i say anonymous I mean coward, should really learn a little something about our current tax system before rambling on about taking from the rich and giving to the poor. I'm fairly certain whoever wrote that isnt a millionaire/billionaire so wont be affected by any tax changes. If "anonymous" wants to compare our tax code to any other first world country, especially those not in a economic shithole like us, they will see that we still pay less taxes.

So stop defending the rights of the super rich instead of the super poor you dumb ass, the rich dont need your help, they're freakin rich, they'll be ok...

They didnt necessarily get rich by hard work, they probably got rich by getting knuckleheads like you to do hard work for them...now youre bashing poor people for them...you stupid clown.

1) The Puritans murdered women for being "witches"

2) In a 2003 study conducted by UNICEF that took the averages from five different international education studies, the United States ranked 18th out of 24 nations.

3) Current federal tax brackets range from 10% up to 35%, depending on income. This has been the standard American tax system for decades.

Anon - your argument is weak. I propose that you are just angry that your "team" lost.

You can respect a person / party / victory without agreeing with them.

You can accept a defeat without wild and unfounded accusations.

C'mon - be the bigger man. I dare ya.
