Monday Morning

We started out bright and early on Monday morning, intending to get some breakfast and some quick sightseeing in before I had to get to work. We decided to head downtown via the U-bahn (subway) to the world famous Naschmarkt.

The Naschmarkt is the biggest and most famous farmer's market in Vienna. You can buy most anything there including meats, cheeses, vegetables, flowers, wines etc.

There are also many different places to sit and eat there...its like taking a trip around the world.

You can watch a short video about the Naschmarkt here

The Naschmarkt is surrounded by a beautiful buildings....look at these gems!

Look at the detail....holy.

We walked around the market and had breakfast at the Naschmarkt Deli...delicious eggs and bagels...and coffee....yum yum

By midday I had to get to work, so we hopped on the subway and the streetcar to get home.

Nice Monday Vienna.....so far so good.
