Save the World

Did you know that a plastic bag....

...at a grocery store in Ireland....

....will cost you twenty two cents a bag?

This levy has reduced the consumption...

... of these non bio-degradable devils...
...by an estimated 90%

Amen to all the countries that make you pay for bags. This is an area where our country is severly lagging. Let's all try to do something a little more environmentaly caring .

I agree. We seem to be lagging in many areas over here in the land of bigger is better.

Do you want me to mail you the million that are under my kitchen sink and you can stand outside the stores selling them for 10 cents?

Holy, I use those plastic bags to pick up after my dog. ha ha. And as for shopping, I always double bag cause there always seems to be a small hole in them and I dont feel like picking up groceries from the parking lot. If I had to pay for them I would probably just end up bringing my own bags or boxes or something.

Oh and I like the pics of the bag floating to the floor. ha ha. very creative with your blogging. If I blogged I would have nothing to say.
